The lcd screen on my G2 will not go on when I power the camera. I can still take pictures through the viewfinder and the screen displays the photos stored on the flash memory, so I know it works . Any thoughts or suggestions?

It's always a little heart-stopping to inadvertently hit that button an see a black screen.

Thanks, guys. I am at the office now and will try to fix it tonight. I will let you both know what happens. Thanks again for your prompt responses and suggestions.

Bolantej and Don - Thanks so much. I just got home, hit the display button once and it magically appeared. That was easy. Now I feel like a complete idiot. I certainly didn't think I was that technologically challenged. Thanks again.

Bobby ![]() Good news... and don't worry about it. It's not like you realized you hit the button in the first place. I still remember the first time my screen came up blank -- the first fear is always the worst: It's broken.
