Can anyone recommend a book about photographing birds/wildlife? One that covers techniques and fieldcraft that sort of thing rather than ID.

Thanks

A nice, little beginner's book with many images to detail the text is: The Bird Photography Field Guide by David Tipling. Copyright 2011 by Focal Press. For the more complex, I would check out Moose Peterson's books. There are many good books on the subject, but these two authors are pretty solid about clearly explaining their approach.

Yeah, I do.
People can be so uncivil...that it makes me quite appreciate your effort to bother to reply.
