Can anyone recommend a book about photographing birds/wildlife? One that covers techniques and fieldcraft that sort of thing rather than ID.

Copyright 2011 by Focal Press. For the more complex, I would check out Moose Peterson's books. There are many good books on the subject, but these two authors are pretty solid about clearly explaining their approach. Chuck
