Oh yeah, i know posing newborn above 2 weeks are very difficult!

This is the hardest session that i ever have. The baby is one month old and he cries mostly 90% of the session. I spent all day with them. We want to pose him but forget it coz he only fell asleep like 5 minutes and then up crying. I have tried my very best to make some good shots. Also did some life style shots coz i know will not get much of posing baby shots. I was worn out and wonder if i am on the right track. I love arts and taking pictures but sometimes working with the baby make me want to drink more wine after i finished the work. Please help me, direct me and give me some critiques.
Here are the rest of my work from this session. Thank you everyone for your time.

I'm no pro, but I like them! As a parent, I'd be extremely happy with these. It's actually kind of nice to see some lifestyle shots.

Thank you HNJ9503. Yeah as long as the parents happy I am happy. Just got an e-mail from them and they are very happy with my work and they understand about the posing difficulty. I think that's count and worth it for me.

As a recent(ish) dad of a little boy, I love the last one. Gets hard to be in front of the lens rather than behind it. Looks like a strong little guy!

These are two lovely shots... particularly the second one... I checked your portfolio too... many more good shots there. If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have known about the crying/screaming. He's sleeping in many of the shots, but that's what babies do, and everything else works so well...

Honestly I prefer the journalistic, lifestyle shots over the cute posed shots. Very nice.

Thank you guys! When i look at the photos over again and again, I begin to think i like more of lifestyle shots than baby posing ones. They give such warm and happy moment. Posing baby is an art too but i need to improve in that area.

My only useful critique is your use of the wine. Enjoy a glass celebrating your good work rather than pouring it over frustration.
