I spent the day at Southwick Zoo in Mendon, MA on 10/23/11. It's a great zoo and the animals all seem to be happy and healthy. They're working on getting all of the animals in new exhibits as time and funds allow. This year (3) of the giraffes; Molly, Pinda, and Midas, were moved into their new exhibit. The remaining giraffes will be moved during the zoo's offseason to minimize the stress. They also have a special feeding event where you can feed them. Molly and Pinda are the only ones who as of right now who are comfortable feeding from people, Molly more so than Pinda. We had a blast with them and I wanted to share my photos.

#1 - Pinda (L) and Midas (R) having a tender moment.
