Here are my options in order of need:

1. New Dog
2. New Computer
3. 70-200 II minus 85 1.8 minus 135 2.0 and satisfy my lens addiction
4. New Dog + New Computer + 70-200 2.8 II minus 8.5 1.8 minus 135 2.0 minus Wife

Hum - decisions, decisions...

I will be visiting NY during Christmas, and thought it would be a good idea to take a look at BH.

Here in Spain 70-200 II has a price around $2800! I am going to save money, but not happy about paying NY taxes....in the end, buying in the store is around $2260 (2074*1,09) :(

I was almost going to order an 85 or 135 but went with the 70-200 2.8 II instead. I am wondering if it makes sense to keep the 70-300L now or just get a 1.4X or 2X for the 70-200? what are your plans assuming you get a 70-200?

I am in the same boat as your. I jumped on 70-200 because B&H makes an offer I can't refuse :) My 70-300L is about 5 months old and I am still loving it. I will try to sell 70-300 if the selling price is right; otherwise, I will keep both. Can't wait for the new toy to arrive. Xmas comes a bit earlier for me this year.

Dang. I've been debating between getting an 85 1.8 or 70-200 F4IS but this is heck of a deal. I am worried about its size and weight though. Decisions...
