The Agat 18 is a soviet camera made of plastic. Looks like a toy and it is. It is the size of a cigarette packet, with colourfull plastic parts and an easy semi-automatic way to take pictures.

The camera takes 35mm film but makes 72 half frame exposures. Once you set the ASA speed on the orange dial, there are marked weather settings to choose from that set the aperture/speed combination of the camera. Sunny, cloudy, rainy etc. Then focusing is done from a distance scale.

Sinpo AF 10, an unknown plastic compact camera.

It takes sharp pictures in the center, soft around the edges, needs more than two meter clearance from the subject.
It has a panoramic setting, some flash options, a self timer and a B setting, first time I see it in plastic point 'n' shoots

Cool thread!!! Sadly I no longer have any of my old cameras, but I've seen them appear in this thread.

When I was real young, my aunt gave me a non-functioning Kodak Brownie to play with. Then I had a Kodak Instamatic, followed by a Yashica Electro GSN. I bought while in AIT training, Aberdeen, MD. Really liked it, my first venture into 35mm. Also had a Polaroid Land Camera.

When I first stared in Law Enforcement, we used the Graflex Speed Graphic folding press camera to photograph crime scenes. Kinda of a neat camera to use. Big ol' flash bulbs, that would blind the crap out of ya'. Finally after a few years they upgraded to the Canon AE-1. Liked that one so much I bought one, and then had the Canon AE for a short time. I gave that one to my sister.

Finally I decided I wanted to go digital, so bought a few of Sony's, I really liked the Mavica FD-95. Sold it after a couple of years and picked up a Kodak Easyshare P880, which I still have, along with my Canon T4i.

Love looking at all these vintage cameras, memories...

Went into a charity shop yesterday looking for a flatbed scanner so I can gut it and make a small cnc engraver, whilst looking around I came across these 2 beauties, 20 quid for the pair and the flash 20 still had a roll of film in from the previous owner (well past its expiry date I suspect).

This little gem came about via my second attempt at using ebay. The gentleman who owned it before me did a fantastic job of keeping it in great condition.

Olympus XA
Rangefinder camera, aperture priority only
35mm lens, F2.8-F22
It has a switch on the bottom. The first click is exposure compensation for backlighting, the next is to test the battery (beeps if still working), and the last is the self-portrait timer. You can set the ISO in the front, as well as focus (very short focus throw). It's a clamshell design, so I just close it when I'm not planning on taking a shot. Even if I've cranked to take the next photo, the shutter cannot be released with the clamshell closed. That way it's always ready for that next shot.
