Now I get to "play" and learn the controls. You know what I will be doing in my free time! Right now I only have the 18-55 IS, 55-250 IS and the 50 1.8 II in my bag. After handling it for awhile, my XSI feels like a toy when I pick it up (Even though the XSI takes some great pics!). 40D only has 9700 shutter clicks according to EOSInfo so expect to get lots of use out of it!! Definitely noisier and the LCD isn't as nice, but everything else is a million times better! I feel like a sniper with the AF and the controls/grip and amazing! 40D with Tamron 17-50MM f/2.8 & Canon 85MM f/1.8 & Canon 55-250MM f/4-5.6
