Few photos I shot at NY Rangers games. Many of them are shot through the glass since after renovation, they halved the amount of holes in the plexi to shoot through so the quality is not THE best.

1. Henrik Lundqvist (With Crosby in the back lol)

The first image is rather soft. Number two is a tad soft as well with just backs and the last one looks like just a snap shot which isn't cropped well as ankles are cut off and the puck isn't in frame but the color and contrast are better in the last one.

First two also look really noisy. even through glass, lighting there looks like it should be OK. What ISO and what camera? Last one ....24 in focus Lucic is not. Does not really show much in terms of what the action was.

I agree with the soft images on the first 2 photos. with being at a NHL arena and even shooting through the glass I would expect less noise than that. I shoot normally in a dark barn and through the glass as well and I don't nearly get that amount of noise. what kind of gear were you using and what settings?

Well the soft focus ended up being my lens, I have it at the Canon repair center at this very moment getting fixed. And I guess I overdid the ISO for this. I'll apply for new credentials for a few games in January or Feb and try to get some better shots.
