Kind of difficult to do startrails here in the city with the light pollution and heavy air traffic but I somehow pulled it off. Also here is a timelapse made from the exposures: http://youtu.be/vFdEgyyAwGU

Nov 30, 2011 21:30 | #2 Your foreground image is way too big and too bright . But if mainly your taking a night image of the building only then it's a good shot . Other than that this does nothing for me but perhaps it will for others . Just MHO .

I was actually shooting the buildings (for the timelapse) but I was bored and decided to stack the images, getting the trails in the back.

Dec 07, 2011 00:34 | #7 The fact you were able to get star trails from within a brightly lit cityscape is awesome in itself. I feel the comp could be better - too much buildings and not enough sky. Nice that you included the video too.

Dec 08, 2011 23:28 | #8 Thanks for the comments. The building were the main subject. I only decided to do the startrails once I imported the photos into the computer and noticed the stars in the photo. I'll try to retake it, with a different angle and including more sky once it gets warmer.
