I recently had a 1d Mk IV on loan from CPS and while I had it with me I though I would mess around with the video option on this camera. With some of the footage I shot I made this movie trailer using iMovie. After that I went out and bought Final Cut Pro X and a HD camcorder that will be here for Christmas.

For the movie trailer I used the footage I shot and then some clips I found off youtube as you will be able to see the difference in quality

While I don't agree with ripping off other peoples footage your own looked very crisp in the edit. After using a top end DSLR you may not be as impressed with the footage a camcorder delivers.
