Dizzy, love the new process care to share?

sure! I pretty much did my usual process of just messing with curves to get the contrast where I want it and then I experimented with selective coloring which I never used before - more specifically I messed around with neutrals and reds (stole this tip from Shannon Miller's tumblr ). I also went with a slightly warmer white balance than usual. Hope this helps! :)

Does the 35L do good starbursts? Trying to find an example, can't - well almost one on WRXTACY's shot above, but not quite.

I know 1.4 is the main purpose of the lens, but am interested as a landscape lens also.

I think you should go wider than the 35L for landscape, like the 16-35

Although landscape photography isn't my primary interest in this lens, I found wIth my 550D/10-22 I quite often shot landscapes at 22mm - which is 35mm equivalent. Not all landscapes need to be ultrawide.

But I am just curious how it does starbursts...

This lens is amazingly good at weddings. I just learned that fact last night. And I'm not saying my photography is amazing, just saying this LENS is amazing - just want to clear that up right now : )

Awesome wedding shots Ken B. I'd be happy with those if it was my wedding and you were my photographer.

Thanks guys, PP was for the beach set slight exposure offset with a play in curves, for the grass shots, the vibrant green was a freshly mowed lawn that day, very very mild saturation and curves done with layers oh and clone stamped out the boogers up the nose ;)

new one took tonight:
