It locks AF basically in the dark and super accurately I might add. I'd say it's at least 2 stops better than the MKII as far as noise too. The first shot here is ISO 4000 with the NR slider on 10 in Lightroom and there's just a little noise in the shadows. It's so nice not having to destroy your images with NR. Frekin amazing camera.
