Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 L USM, Continued

Glad I found this site! Thanks for posting all of the great photos in this thread. After looking through this thread and comparing the 35L photos to the Sigma 35mm photos I decided to go with the 35L. At first glance the Sigma caught my eye but after looking at more of the Sigma photos they just looked too sharp for my taste, it makes people look like composites. The 35L seems to produce smoother images with just the right amount of sharpness, I guess that's why they haven't changed the design in a long time, if it anint broke, don't fix it. Here's my first photo with the 35L. Thanks again for all the great photos in this thread!

No it was an off light blue - really gorgeous. There is a bit of warming and cooling in the PP - but as shown is very close.

I want one...
