I want to convince myself to get a 35L rather than the 135L on the bokeh but does anyone have the issue where the 35L acts too much like a UWA sometimes? I tested one out and was very disturbed by the distortion in the camera store..maybe it's user error. :z

It doesn't act like a UWA but it is still in fact, a wide angle lens. The distortion isn't that bad, but compared to the 135L the 135 will have a significant amout of less distortion. Also I just want to not 135 has much better, creamier bokeh, but to be honest this lens as a general purpose lens is much better than the 135.

I also got the 35L before I got the 135L and I would definitely do it again in that order. 35L fitted my shooting style, very useful and versatile, and I liked it for street photography, I did get the 85 1.8 at the same time. Currently its either my 35L or 135L that is on my camera, with a 50 filling the gap. Since my 85 is on loan by a friend but I don't really miss it all that much anymore.

Hey guys,

Thanks
Chester

Wow. You did it in the 135L and the 35L threads. And yet again, my acknowledgement that this has nothing to do with the 35L has given you one more plug.
