Frig....sometimes I reminisce on selling my 135L :(

Granted I did it for my 70-200L II but I still get sad ha

...BECAUSE SEEKING VALIDATION FROM ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE OPINIONS OF PAID CLIENTS.

i see you got the 5D2 now :)... i didnt get to play with it much, but i posted a few shots in the 135 thread, i was a bit iffy bout the AF on the 85L, i will rent one and then make my decision, after all it does have a hefty price tag..

Yup! Well, I'm receiving it this week sometime. The 85L has slower AF than you'd be used to, but, IMO it's so worth it with the IQ. The only lens I would say that's comparable to the 85L is the 135L.

I thought you had the 24L II instead of this lens  been following your posts on the 24L II thread and was pretty surprised to have found you here!

Yes, i am now here:)

ThreeD23 wrote in post #13977550 (external link)
he has updated with a 35l as well ;) check the signature

Correct sir ;)

85L AF on the 5D2 is slow, you get used to it though. But when mounted on the 1ds3 there is a big difference

Here's a new shot I did for a local chocolate business!

Also, I just released a video tutorial on color treatment in Photoshop. It focuses on the basics but also addresses some more advanced topics.
You can check that out here: http://www.youtube.com …0eK0nUHk&feature=youtu.be (external link)

Hope you find it helpful!

Jordan has an envious way of rounding up subjects whoe love the camera, and the camera loves them back - especially in his skilled hands.
