Hi Folks

Just wondering if some of you can help me improve the weakest areas of my Blog, I'v been staring at this site for a few days now so it's hard to see the woods from the trees.

Thanks

:)

I think it is all pretty good... coming from a teenager. The pictures are great and the blog is very aesthetically pleasing. Keep it up!

Looks good. Just a couple of very quick ones:

- I'd remove photo http://rhysphotograph.me …/uploads/2011/11/w-75.jpg (external link) from wedding portfolio :)
- have portfolios open with normal thumb colors (not faded), use something else for mouseover.
- would prefer slightly larger paragraph fonts,
- use more white space on the margins, in general you might want to use narrower layout (avoid iPad scaling)

I like the simplicity, the colours, enjoy your photos, easy to read layout ... I would just watch out for grammar and punctuation issues, especially if this blog is your main online advertising vehicle.

My grammar is terrible in general (always has been), can you post any examples so I can fix them?

Hey Rhys ... most people struggle with grammar and punctuation ... especially in today's world where everything's done in e-shorthand! Here are a few things that jumped out at me:

a few candid shot’s - no apostrophe needed

hogarths hotel - capitalize (and apostrophe?)

tough to keep-up - no hyphen needed

me and Katy Lula arranged - Katy Lula and I

...welcome to my new website/blog.
I thought I would kick this blog off with... - try not to repeat the same word too soon

...welcome to my new website. I thought I would kick this blog off with...

Best of luck with the new site ... and on the journey into photography ... I'm just starting out myself!

Cheers!

I think it looks like a typical ProPhoto blog, just like mine! :)
I like it. It's nice and clean. Easy to navigate.
The one thing I don't like is the portfolio section. Don't like the thumbnails. I like the slideshow option better. ProPhoto Blog 4 uses HTML 5 instead of Flash which is nice. But that's just my preference.
