Trying to work on my aviation photography so after talking with Jay (Flyingphotog) I tried to put a bit more effort into taking some shots you normally wouldn't see. Did what I could with the time I had while waiting around for the clients so I was only able to do so much. Any C&C would be appreciated!

Very nice Kim.

I'd consider cropping #1 down and lose the trees above the fuselage. Nice choice on where to set the focus point using the distorted stripes.

Very nice. I think I like #3 the most. I like the DOF and the light gradient across it.

Nice pix. I'm a big fan of cockpit pictures and #3 does it for me in this series.

Great shots, I love seeing the Avionics suite, and they are crystal clear!

Thanks! The X's avionics are a bit outdated by today's standards but still look damn impressive. Especially coming from nothing but two EFIS tubes and some steam gaugse!

Yep sorry about that. I'll have to save that for another thread. But here's a full frontal one I posted in the other thread if it counts.

They were all shot with a 5D Mark II and a 24-70L. They were mostly shot at ISO 6400 and just about wide open. I also exposed to the right a little and brought it back down later in post to reduce some of the noise.

Oh and it's kind of nice to be able to hop in the back and grab a few of those snacks on a 4 hour transcon vs what you can find on most airliners these days! We also have more that's stashed all over that I didn't snap any pictures up. Plus a huge liquor collection and some wine. All off limits of course...
