Tips+pics for taking portraits in the snow.

Hey everyone please post your tips and any pix you've taken of portraits in the snow! My niece wants to do some portraits in the snow this Sunday with some fresh powder that's going to fall this weekend.

I've done some research and it looks like the 2 top things I should remember are:
1. Custom WB
2. Overexpose a little.

I'm thinking we'll do some pictures in downtown Denver and then some in a nearby valley. What types of locations do you recommend for these pictures?

These are more snapshots. Just touched up the RAWs in DPP and exported to .jpg. Shot wide open on the 70-200 f2.8, and exposed to my liking.

If it's snowing, I think a shallow DoF has a nice effect on the airborne flakes.

thanks that last pic is sweet!defintely looks like you had an overcast day, right? that's what I'm hoping for tomorrow!

I will be using a 70-200 f/2.8 for most of these pix as well as a 50 1.4

was just wanting any tips or suggestions!

Yep, that last one was overcast horizon to horizon. If it's clear, just try to shoot in that last hour before sunset (or after sunrise).
