Excellent shot! What kind of lighting did you use?

it's a little 'hot' on the right side (doesn't bother me too much, but it might others). Also, not a big fan of the radial blurred frame. Other than that, top notch!

My highkey setup is pretty straight forward....
I have two lights on the background,
One as my main
and one for fill set at one stop under the main ...
this gives me a 2:1 lighting ratio
At times I use a 3:1 even a 4:1 ratio
especially on my lowkey shots

Great shot, but I have to agree, the frame is giving me flashbacks to the 60's

I like the shot. Her eyes bring me right to her face. The blow out on the right is a bit much but not that bad to me. IMO get rid of the swirl on you have a winner.

i like the shot, but to me, the swirly bg makes me think it is her hair (and yes, i realize it may very well be that) but i think it's kinda wierd to be surrounded by one's hair in a photo. or perhaps i am the wierd one.

A lot of time these types of images don't come across to me as intended due to them being out of context. Is this part of a series or do you have a certain place in your home you planned on hanging it? If so the frame would work IMO, but if not I think the image alone is much better.

Excellent work! But I do find the highlights in the hair a little distracting.
