I have the 60D now but I've decided I'm going to go full from when the 5D3 comes out next year. Anyone have any advice when searching for a new lens right now knowing I'll go FF pretty soon? (besides don't buy another EF-S)

Depends on what you want to shoot for what will serve you best. I think the 135L is about the best bang for your buck out there. You can pick them up used pretty reasonably.

And secondly, what camera or cameras (if any) did you use before you bought the 60D? (and for how long in total)? Peace, D. Valid questions.
