If I leave CS4 in my PC system, will installing CS5 (from the factory cd) leave a bunch of useless data on my HD and RAM use?
I could have ungraded CS4 from online, but I prefer having the cd in hand.

Thanks

Install CS5. Make sure you're comfortable with it.
Move your filters, add-ons, etc.
Then deregister and uninstall CS4 in a few weeks.

I just upgraded from CS3 to CS5 both versions are hard copy original product from adobe purchased true amazon.ca couple years ago. I installed my cs3 back than no problem, now when i installed the cs5 upgrade edition it said my cs3 serial number was invalid?! After chatting and phone conversation with adobe they finally figured it out, and it works fine now. Be careful when buying soft copy, if your comp. crashes you could end up with nothing, god forbid you loose your receipt of purchase :)
