Recently picked up a 7D and want to know if the HD video capabilities on the 7D camera is equivalent to the 5D MKII. If not, what are the differences between their HD video and what makes the 5D MKII HD quality better?

Dec 03, 2011 13:33 | #4 So does this affect HD video quality? Yes, I'm aware of the differences in the sensor full-frame sizes and I'm okay with the cropped or smaller sensor in the 7D to start. The video capability is a primary reason why I chose the 7D and if it's not as clear as the 5D MKII, then perhaps I might have to upgrade down the line. Canon USA Gear!
