After a scorching day in the sun hiking along the Gariep river in South Africa it was great to get out of the sun and spend some time next to the roaring river creating some images in the cool evening air with the river lit by a sliver of the moon. Photo taken in the Augrabies National Park.

Great job there! It's always fun to see nicely executed "daylight" night shots

Very nicely executed Rudi!
I think everyone needs a picture of a "chocolate" river which is what came to my mind upon first viewing your capture.

Thanks for the comments! I never thought of it as a "chocolate" river but it sure looks like it! The funny thing is the local name is actually "Orange river" since the water looks orange in daylight!

Thanks for looking.
