Images below are my first attempt at wrestling. I definitely have some work to do. I am also trying to force myself to use LR3 vs. CS5 for post. These images were only sharpened in CS5. C&C welcome.

Pics look good.
I post my pictures on a FB page I made for our local HS sports teams. Personally, I never post pictures with the wrestlers in the position of number 2. It throws juvenile minds into a frenzy with inappropriate comments. I only tell you this since you posted that it was your first time shooting wrestling and not sure how you share them.
Looks like you are the right the track.

Nice - especially for a first time.
Good action, faces (usually difficult to get good action & faces), sharp & colors look nice.

How did you light the wrestlers - It looks like off camera lighting?

My only criticism is I would like a little lighter ambient - but thats just personal preference.

1.6 crop & some lenses

Mark, nice work. #6 is my favorite, good action/emotion, full bodies (although I do like tight shots also), faces and eyes visible. Looks like things were rather tight (space wise), any chance you could have used two of your AB800's? w/stands or clamped high up & bounced off of ceiling?
