Ok guys, I have a empty 12'x13' room to set up and shoot some holiday portraits (1-2 people at a time and a couple Mom and child shots) I really could use some set-up and scene ideas. I want to do this as cheap as possible and so far I have in my possession...

1 end table with a poinsettia
Small decorated Christmas tree with ornaments/lights

:lol::lol::lol: I know...it's not much.

I have no backdrops whatsoever and could either paint the wall or make my own backdrop out of something but could really use some creative ideas on this one.

Will be using 2 strobes and probably the 24-70 since the room is so short.

If you guys have any ideas, pictures, or links to help me in setting up a cute scene that would be fantastic!

I don't have any real ideas but subscribing to this thread. I would like to do the same just for our family.

I wish I had a green screen to try out.

I just wrapped some empty boxes. Also used a little rocking chair for a baby. And I put him in a wrapped crate for a few shots. A whole family is more difficult I'm sure than just 1 baby. Good luck!

How about props that express the actual winter season, but not necessarily Christmas...maybe for people who don't celebrate. I find it hard to do anything around this time of year without being bombarded with Christmas. Just a thought.

Oh, I should have specified, the shots are for my in-laws, and they do.
