I was wondering if anyone has experience using this combo. I have the original speedlight bracket that comes with the cheetah Q box 24, and I'm wondering if I would be able to use that with the Kacey beauty dish.

I am also wanting to use the dish with my alien bees. Would the bracket still work if I buy the alien bee adapter? Does anyone have any suggestions?

No the bracket which comes with QBox24" won't fit the kacey dish. Even if it did I wouldn't want to use the dish with that bracket. Much better to get kacey single or dual bracket for speedlites. For Ab use get the AB adapter.

From what i've found out, there is a way to get it to work with the Kacey dish.

Referring to the bold. Why wouldn't you want to use the cheetah bracket? I know it doesn't look quite as "Beefy" but It seems like it will definitely be strong enough. I could be completely wrong, but I did talk to a user on here who has used one with no problems.

If I had some free time I could have taken some pictures. I have all that gear you talking about. The kacey bracket is so much better IMHO. Let me see if I can get some pictures tonight. No promise.

I see. $136 better? I have the cheetah bracket already. I would much rather have the standard kacey bracket, but $136 is a big chunk of change. I would rather put that towards a grid and sock for the dish.
