Yesterday I forced myself out of the house and headed to a favourite spot of mine in hopes to shoot some ice edge abstracts. Unfortunately there were no ice edges to shoot. I still managed to find a couple of photo opportunities so it wasn't a completely wasted trip.

As always, WINNERS, but, then again, I'm a sucker for b & w and abstracts. KUDOS, Scott.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

I agree, #1 is wonderful, but they are all very, very good. Nice work.

I hear you, man. Keep the faith; in a couple weeks the days will be getting longer and in six more months it will be warm again. LOL

Good shots.

Thank you Al and Al. One of the things I look forward to in winter are ice abstracts. Just not the cold! LOL

#1 is just incredible. Like it a lot. #3 looks like it was shot through a microscope. Really cool effect the ice gave off.

Canon T2i Digital SLR; stock 17-55mm and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto.
I am just learning so any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you! I hope to shoot more of this kind of stuff this winter. Just waiting for it to snow and get a little colder.
