This works for both Canon or Nikon mount!

Abe's of Maine currently has a December Offer: 8% Off Selected Lenses!

You must add to cart to see the price of $459. Then add a promotion code "loyalty15" for another $15 off, which brings the price down to $444 shipped.

If you want to save another $20, then sign up Bill Me Later (for new customers).

This probably of the lowest price you'll find for a brand new Sigma 50.

Also, you can get the Sigma 30 f/1.4 for the same price if you missed out the Thanksgiving sale!

That same deal makes the 10-20 $425. Tempting.

Has anyone had success getting B&H / Adorama / Amazon to match these prices?

Wondering the same thiing as well. Since I'm to lazy to make the trip to New Jersey to pick one up :p. Want to pick up a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 before December 17th. Hoping a sale pops up soon at one of the NYC photo B&M's.

Just bought one earlier this week, supposed to show up today (9th) and just in time as it's my b-day... heard bad things about the focus but sounds like this is a good lens to send in and they will fix the problems for you... can't wait

The lens is awesome, but it's true - the focus is a bit slow. That said, the 90% of time it does obtain focus, the shots are beautiful.

You missed out an awesome deal on Sigma 30 a couple weeks ago. I was lucky to get a brand new one from Unique Photo for $389 shipped. :)

Think it's worth picking up a used one on amazon reseller for $435 or keep waiting for another deal? Abe of Maine is already out of stock.

I bought one e few months ago from Abes, First copy was severly front focusing. I called Abes... sent it back... they picked up shipping and sent another copy that was perfect.

Great service, though I received a followup call to see if I needed filter... warranty and other up-sell crap.
