Hey folks,
I'm searching for an gallery plugin for wordpress.

I know there a lot of them out there.

I want the plugin to show thumbnails. After a click on one of them all pictures. Should be clockable by clickung the left or right button within the gallery. The picturesshould be resized to the window size. They should'nd be biggr so i need to scroll.

I tried so many, like galleria, lightbox, nextgen gallery, and so on. Galleria e.g. showed every picture twice. The first of them where opend in anew windows, without my site background. The second one in a window which blurrs everything else (which i like), but the opend picture, but the pictures are bigger than my 24" screen.

Which size should i use to present the pictures?

Can anyone help, please

Winam

I converted my site to a wordpress themed site this past summer. I used to use the photo galleries I created in PS but never could seem to find what I really needed for what I do...hate flash galleries. I finally ended up just linking my galleries using Flickr. So far it has worked well for me. I know it boils down to finding what works best for your needs.

I can't seem to find it but I know somewhere I asked that same question and got a few good examples...either way, a search yielded some results including a top 10 here

I ended up creating my own galleries, using Wordpress's built in gallery function and a heavy manipulation of the wordpress templates. Essentially, my entire site, all the galleries, everything.. is powered by Wordpress. I can easily add images, they're all in categories, tagged, etc..

Of course, doing what I did would require some pretty good knowledge of Wordpress, but it may give you some ideas... http://twilightscapes.com (external link)
