A little copy and past from last week and

This weeks challenge.... "Holiday Portrait Snap Shots"

So I just returned from a mini holiday and I thought I would love to see people's creativity when it comes to the tacky holiday portrait that shows the name of the place your staying, some land mark in the back ground as part of the photo, the type where you wanted to say, look I was here... so people under the high way sign for Arizona, standing under the Disney sign, the big I love New York T-shirt on with the Empire state building in the back ground, the portrait with the life ring on the ferry boat, and yes, Christmas Holiday shots also since it's that time of year, but it can be any holiday/vacation portrait snap of people or animals as requested. I think lots of people with point and shoots should have this type and maybe it'll give us all ideas on what might be fun and work for future holiday shots.

Sure, I see no problem with an animal instead of a person. I just think it'll be fun to see those holiday,Look where I am shots.

It's not that I don't like people shots (as a matter of fact, I love looking at them) but unfortunately, my family REFUSES to have their pictures taken! It is so frustrating but hey, maybe I will get lucky for this assignment! LOL! I actually think this week's theme is interesting! (My Christmas card this year, however, was a landscape shot:(:().

Well I clarified above, but don't forget, any portrait type vacation and holiday shots, summer holidays, Christmas and past Christmas' if you have a good one, should all be good for this. Possibly you can find some great shots the family forgot for a moment and let you take. Disney, water parks, Halloween portraits. I basically thought it might be fun to see how people took creative photos when on holidays that included the holiday theme or the vacation place name in the photo with the portrait meant to say Hey, Look where I am or what holiday it is.

My kids live on the other side of the country now, so this is the closest I could come to a "portrait" and still convey the idea that Christmas is about family.
