Friend's baptism C&C welcome

My friends asked me to shoot their sons baptism over the weekend. I've never shot a baptism before, or any event for that matter. so comments are appreciated! No flash in the church, let me know what you think.

They look good to me. I really like the generational shot (I'm assuming) in #6. Light looks good. What lens did you use?


60D / EOS Elan / 15-85 IS USM / 70-200 f4L IS / 50 1.4 / 430ex / Fujifilm X100s / Slik U-212 (a genuine antique, like me....)

Thanks, I borrowed my buddies 85 1.2. Man i love that lens. Wish i could justify getting it

oh boy, i was so close to hitting checkout last night, I looked to my wife to stop me . . . she didn't, I looked to my buddy who's i borrowed . . . he didn't either. I think I will build up the nerve by the end of the day.

Baby Dallas is adorable! He didn't cry the entire time either.

Get the 85 1.8 It is a solid lens that has fast focus.. For a little less money *LOL*

It's a nice series. I like the generation shot and the last one is really solid.

I have done a few before and I could have use flash but elected to use natural light.
I shot almost everything with a 30 1.4 and thought the 85 was a bit too tight for a baptism.
