I purchased a 5D II kit through Adorama a week ago and the price has since dropped $80. Does anyone have any experience requesting price adjustments with Adorama?

I don't get it...why would one need to contact Helen to get a price adjustment? A simple email to CS should do the trick.

Adorama is outstanding with price adjustments. On the 2nd of Nov. I ordered a grey market Canon (EF 100mm 2.8L IS MACRO) for $939.00 and was delivered the next day with free shipping. They shipped me a Canon USA model! Later in the month around the 25th B&H was selling the same lens (USA) model for $886.00 plus shipping. I contacted Adorama and they offered to refund the difference to my PayPal but I opted for a gift cert. Also they only figured $1.00 for shipping. 5 star service all the way!

Helen also facilitated a price adjustment for me this past week. I'm very happy.

Because I work a split day so I can cover the Internet across multiple time zones I'm usually more readilly available - and I'm a named person that you can pursue if necessarry!

This.
nothing wrong with having a representative on a forum we can see eye to eye with (wheras contacting support is a bit less personal). Adorama having Helen here shows that they care!
