I have been very busy and traveling a lot so I haven't posted in a while. Here are some images I made over the last couple of months. Some were made on a trip I took to the upper Texas coast to photograph migrating birds of prey. The others were made here in Florida. The photo of the Great Horned Owl shows a GHO with gray eyes. This is something I have never seen before. All the GHOs I have seen have bright yellow or yellow-orange eyes. Has anyone seen or heard of a GHO with gray eyes?
I hope you like the images. Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous shots, love the detail in all of them. Is the exif data available?

I'm speechless. All great, but the ones of the Coopers Hawk are terrific, especially the second one...

Superb in flight images, Jim. It really does not get any better than this. Re the gray eyes, there was a GHO found wounded last month in Virginia that also had gray eyes. Here's (external link) the article.
