Sorry if this has been suggested previously (searched with no luck).

Would it be possible to include the original post date of the first post in smaller font next to or below the Thread Title? This would be helpful when someone resurrects a thread from months or years ago - you would be able to tell the age of the thread without opening it up.

I find myself sorting most of the Forums by "Last Post" and then working backwards to reach the point that I last visited.

Thanks to all the Mod's for this great resource!

Hmmmmm. I don't see it.

The date of the last post is there, but I don't see the date when the thread was started until I open up the thread.

What am I missing?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Maybe that Pekka is working on a completely new forum software that will replace vbulletin when its ready. So I am thinking that Pekka said your wish comes true in that new software. Please don't ask when? :) because the answer to that will be: When its ready ;)

What Tommy said....

Original question (and title of the thread) was in reference to the new forum software.

I am taking Pekka's answer to mean that he already thought of my suggestion and that this feature is included in the new release (on a yet to be announced date).

I see. I actually had no idea that there were any plans to update the forum with new software.

I'm sure it will be great, but I must say that I think the way the forum is currently set up is awesome!!! I am a member of several different online forums, and without a doubt this one is set up as well as any out there. Maybe that's one reason we have so many more members here than any of the other forums?

I love this forum but sometimes wish it had a darker background and white words like fredmiranda.com, my other favorite photography website. It doesn't tire my eyes and feels more mellow.

Agreed...

I sometimes have to make some adjustments to images before posting here because of the white background.

The community, however, more than offsets this. ;)

You need an app? Can't you already view this forum on an iPhone when accessing the internet? You should be able to do that without an app.
