I made a simple video guide for beginners that are having a hard time understanding exposure! It won't be of use to more advance people, but I just thought I'd share! Please leave feedback! Thanks!

Three functions? I think Canon would be flipping mad what he called the modes :)

Nice video. I'll have to show this to my daughter when she gets her camera.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

Good work. Well done. If I may suggest that in any further videos, you might consider speaking a little slower & pause between points so the viewer has time to digest. It seemed a bit rushed. Thanks for posting.

Canon calls the dial with choice of M, P, Av, Tv, movie, C1 etc. the 'mode dial'.

Control for aperture, shutter speed, ISO are indeed 'functions' of the camera.

To the OP: Toward the end of the video, your statements seem to imply that selection of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO are trial and error settings, 'and, when you still have a dark exposure, add light'. In fact, setting the fundamental exposure is based upon the amount of light in the scene and can be well estimated via the camera's light meter or handheld meter (rather that totally trial and error), and adjustments (e.g. use of EC) are based either upon the need to compensate for subject brightness fooling the meter, and/or need to adjust the photo to suit the taste or intent of the photographer.

As a long time photographer and educator of photography myself, I will say that you generally did a good job and it is obvious that you know the subject matter presented.
