Misty, snowy day..

Typically Scotland!

Went out today with the hope of finding some sort of waterfall which I could play with some long exposure, this didn't work out and the closest I got to a waterfall was when I had to hide in a bush to have a pee...

However, did this shot. Anything positive about this picture? Running out of options here as there is no nice weather and the sun is hidden behind think, low level fog all day!

This photo I played around with in Photoshop, not sure what I was doing but think it looked ok? Would you have done anything different with it? Thanks!

I love it in B&W, color would just not be the same. Shots like this always remind me of my grandfathers ranch in Northern Michigan when I was a kid. The potholes in the road are a great added element. I don't think I would do anything different, you captured the emotion of the moment.

I didnt, no. I quite liked the fact that they were in the shot and in a way narrows the feel of the road...

My thoughts as well. To me they are what that made this photo stand out more than just another shot of a another road lined with bare trees on a typical lackluster winter day.

Creates a cold and dreary emotion. Thanks for sharing this view...makes me glad it doesnt snow like this where I live! *grin*

This is an awesome shot ... reminds me of my childhood. Thanks!
(I now live in a place where it snows maybe one day in every 10 years.)
