Hey I'm getting a 60D this Christmas and Im super excited. Now I've know of people who have Digital video recorders that have the ability to record the TV Via a cable. I was wondering if the 60D has that ability if so is it still it's normal 1080p?

Also at 1080 I beleive the maximun recording time is around 12 minutes in a single video clip (4GB)....

The OP was asking to record a tv show on their 60D... not record a signal from the 60D.

Im about to do this for a friend of mine and this is the route Im going since you can literally lean over at the start of a match, hit record on the comp, play, and then lean back over and clip it. Nothing happened? Trash it. Sweet sequence? You can instantaneously cut it in whatever editing software your using (you didnt specify windows/mac). My company builds and sells high-end live video streaming boxes. We use alot of the Black Magic cards. Although they are a solution, be warned that it is very finicky to get them to capture and record Xbox footage. I personally use the Intensity Pro to record and stream my Xbox footage--again...extremely finicky.
