I headed off to a small coastal island for the morning to shoot Crested Terns hunting and feeding their chicks.

The food the Terns are attempting to deliver is hotly pursued by scavenging Silver Gulls who are after a feed for their own chicks.

Excellent shots, Wayne. The first is terrific and very good shooting, but I just LOVE the second. Great work all round.

I link my posted images from another source and clear them out when they are a few months old. I made this post on the 11th Dec 2011.

I do this and encourage others to as well as the images are that of the photographers and not for continuous use of the forum.

Should you choose to see other works by me there should be two or three other image on this forum and I would like to see your feedback on them.
