I was thinking that maybe these new lower prices might be permanent reductions - nothing I can find on the Canon Store site states if the prices are for a limited time. Clicking on the 'terms and conditions' link just gives an 'undefined' error.

Usually when they have a 15% off sale they send you an email with a code number to use to buy things.

Doesn't hurt to ask

I bought a refurb 7D back in April, I had to return it twice for different reasons. First it had a AF issue and they adjusted that, then it just just stopped working and they replaced the main dial switch. Other than that it has been working fine. It looked mint when I got it and still does. You only get a 90 day warranty, so you need to use it to determine if you have any issues.
