This was from the 2015 ALCS - Game 1 against the Blue Jays. I was there helping with the call in for the flyover, and taking photos.

Feb 17, 2017 13:00 | #1909 Question for those that have taken the photo. I want to take the Skyline photo with the Roasterie DC-3 in the foreground. Do y'all just climb the hill above Margeritas just off of I35? R5 | 5D Mk IV | 70D | 16-35 f/4L | 24-70 f/2.8L II | 100 f/2.8L Macro | 70-200 f/2.8L II | Σ 85 f/1.4 Art

Yep, that's the only way I've taken it. I actually park on a side street behind Margaritas and pass through a fence to climb the hill. Sony A7riii, 16-35, 24-70 2.8 GM, 85 f/1.8, 100-400 GM

Do y'all just climb the hill above Margeritas just off of I35? Hmmm, I'm trying to picture what you are talking about. I mean I know where and have taken photo's of the Roasterie, Margarita's and down around Blvd brewery but cant picture where you could get a skyline photo of the city from anywhere around there. Wondering if you mean up on Penn Valley park and the Scout statue? IMG_7234 Darrell

Thank you! This was my first time venturing out and doing photos like these. I've been away from Flickr for a while, but trying to get back at it. My real job has kept me away from photography.... and the country for a little bit. R5 | 5D Mk IV | 70D | 16-35 f/4L | 24-70 f/2.8L II | 100 f/2.8L Macro | 70-200 f/2.8L II | Σ 85 f/1.4 Art

Great job, the photos are wonderful and if there was ever a question about where, how or what to shoot in Kansas City, Mr. Day is the man. Darrell
