It's also pretty cheap of Canon to sell the Ethernet thing separate and Nikon integrates it in the body! I have no use of it, but these small little details add up!

What are you talking about? The 1D X has a gigabit ethernet terminal.

What will be interesting is if Nikon beats Canon to the market with the D4. We shall know when the official presentation happens in what seems like a day or so :D

Yeah, it had been awhile since I looked at the specs. I thought that little attachment was required. Whoops!

Hehe! I know what you mean but, it's not so bad once you get the hang of Nikon's layout. :)

We know enough.

We know that the 1Dx can focus to f/5.6, while the D4 can focus to f/8.

We know that the 1Dx has a native ISO of 51200, while the D4 goes one stop better.

We know that it's 18MP vs 16MP.

We know the track record of both companies' recent releases, in terms of noise and DR - namely, that the Nikons have generally been better.

We know that it's 10fps vs 14fps.

"...The ISO range is again listed as 100-12,800..."

Too early to say you know because what you know is only an announced spec of 1D X and a rumored spec of D4.

You know from looking at the specs the 1dx is competitive but the only thing they screwed up is the price as the D4 will come in much cheaper.

One thing i've envied about my friends' Nikon D3's is the twin CF slots over my duel CF and SD slots on my 1Ds3 and (now sold) 1D4, and now it seems the D4 is going to have a CF and the new XQD, meaning to utilise shooting with two cards they are going to have buy into the new card system. Is it really necessary at this stage, and also is there any need? 16GB 90mb/sec cards have become completely affordable these days, even to own a dozen. I would pretty pissed about that personally.
