I remember a while back that someone said Sigma would probably be creating a newer 24mm and 35mm. Kind of odd that they might use f/1.8, since f/1.8 solely reminds me of the nifty fifty and all of its associated cheap characteristics. lol.

But guessing how Sigma's 85mm is 1/3 of a stop slower than the 85L, this move kind of makes sense. Hopefully the optical quality will be high up there. I'll be the first to jump on the 35mm if its good.

I've heard that the 500mm may be an f/4, rather than f/4.5.

Let's see how it turns out optically - might give the Canon 500L a run for its money, at half the price.

A FF 35mm f/1.8 is what I've been waiting for.

Only problem is that CR's track record of rumors becoming fact hasn't been too hot.

I'd be all over a Sigma 24mm/35mm f/1.8 FF lens, provided it has HSM and is priced close to their 50mm.

If that 24mm is around $450 and performs well I am all over that!

Count me in for the 35mm. Similar size to the Canon 35/2 and similar price to the Sigmalux please!
