IQ Canon 17-55 vs Sigma 17-50 - Viewing on monitor, no pixel peeping, no large prints

I mostly download my pictures and view them on my computer. I hardly make any standard 4x6 prints and would probably rarely print any large size prints. What I shoot is primarily family photos when we're out and about. Is there an image quality difference between these two lenses if I only view pictures through my monitor a majority of the time?

Sharpness, probably not... however, you may see some contrast & color differences between the two...

Sigma has "warmer" colors if I remember correctly?
