Okay, I'm stuck. The local camera shops don't carry anything but Lowepro. I tried the TLZ10 and it was too small across the top for the grip. The TLZ20 fits but its a lot bigger than I'm looking for. I've got a big bag for all my gear, what I want is a bag that fits as close to the dimensions of the camera as possible when I just want to take it and nothing else. The grip seems to be the biggest problem, bags that would otherwise be perfect lose out because I can't zip them up around the increased width of the camera. I could take the grip off when I want to just take the camera around but honestly the camera just feels wrong without it.

Can anyone reccomend a bag to fit? I'm not against ordering something but without being able to try it out I'm a bit hesitant.

have you tried a holster style bag - I know the eos5 with grip and 28-105 lens fits OK and I have two bags, one was only about £12 from jessops.

also a mate of mine has the EOS5, grip and 28-105mm + batts and bits in a small canon bag which was part of a deal on the camera some time ago - you may want to look at canon bags

I have the Lowepro Toploader 65 AW for the exact same setup and it's perfect. I also have the 75 when I carry the Sigma 70-200mm w/1.4 TC.

my lowepro nova mini, believe it or not fits my digital rebel with grip and 28-135 snuggly and is zippable too with room to spare for the kit 18-55
