Interesting Trades... :-)

I've gotten numerous offers to trade my 1D MKiii but today i got a great offer...

to trade my 1DIII for a Canon 7D + 50mm 1.4 + 500 bucks.... i have a 5D MKII and my 1D III, and plan on swapping....

I love my 1DIII but it's def. dated... i miss my orginal 7D...

hmmm.... if it sounds too good to be true...
I'd really want to check that the 7D is working properly and that the 50/1.4 was working properly and that the person offering the trade was the legitimate owner.

Of course!!!!

The guy is from NYC, and has reciept etc of the camera... he just wants a 1D... i told him the camera is dated but he seems not to care.... and he know smy work/and i 've seen his....

Let's see:

1D3 - $1900ish

for

7d - $1100
50 - $300
Cash - $500

I see nothing shady about this trade offer other than, having owned 2 7ds and a 1D3 (now 4), there is no way I would trade it for a 7d.

But that's me in my world and you don't live here.

yes indeed... but i also have a 5D MKII, i've had this combo, 5dII/7d and it was an awesome combo for me... i use my 1Diii but now as frequent as i should... lol
