Found this guy on top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, AB. Honestly...I have no clue what the difference is. I overheard someone calling it a Ptarmigan so I figured thats what it was. My first instinct was "bush chicken"..lol, aka grouse. They look the same to me. I just love them.
