Puppies playing in the snow

So, a few weekends ago the wife and I loaded up our pups and made the quick road trip to Cloudcroft NM to let the dogs run around in the snow. They seemed to have a really good time once they figured out it was harmless and got used to it. Of course after 20 min running in the snow they were both sprinting back to the truck to get back someplace where it was warm. My wife and I weren't far behind! lol. So, just wanted to share a few pics from the afternoon. All were shot with my 7D and 17-55. Thanks for looking!

your dogs are so stinkin' cute, I can't stand it! Are they mixed breeds? So cute!

About the photography itself, I'm thinking maybe up the exposure a bit. Maybe a stop or two to brighten it up.

haha thanks! The grey one as far as we know is a full blue nose pit. The white one was advertised a pit when we got her. I can see a little pit in her and the way she interacts and plays, but definitely think she is a mix breed, just not sure what she is mixed with. They are two awesome, well behaved dogs though.

As for the exposure, I'll play around with that. I can't say I've taken too many shots with so much white and didn't want to over do it. I'll mess around with it though. Thanks for the comment/tip. And yes, I'm loving the 7D so far. Treating me very well, and definitely out-shoots me!
