Well, I finally took some time to take a few sample shots with my Tokina 12-24 f4 on my 1D MkI. I knew that the Tokina would not work for FF bodies especially at the 12mm end, but how much vignetting will I get with a 1.3 crop body??? Here's the answer... the 1st photo is at 20mm, the second is at 24mm.

Here's one at 18mm and one at 15mm. As you can see, at 15mm the vignetting has already started. At around 16-17mm is where the vignetting disappears.

And what the heck... here's one taken at 12mm. Other than the vignetting at the wide end, this lens focuses perfectly and will work on the 1D MkI & MkII. I might keep this lens for my 10D and start saving for a 16-35 f2.8L for my 1D
