This is a general post to thank all of the POTN members who have posted such wonderful tips in past years on histogram use. My only question is why did it take me so long to do a search for those threads? Just playing around with a recent photo I took during a beach outing in the Bahamas, I was able to hit a perfect exposure adjustment with no guesswork. I also tried a few test shots with the camera and had a similar revelation there with the in camera graph. This is going to make life so much better.

Again thanks to all of the photographers who willingly and patiently offer their assistance in shedding light on these dark secrets of the craft. You all are my heroes. :mrgreen:
