But your picture is at ISO 800. You should do it in normal light. A chart is a better test if you really want a test. Go UCLA

None of the standard range zooms are in my own experience: Sigma, Tamron, Canon. Stop it down to 5.6 or so to appreciate it. All lenses have limits and normally zooms have more of them. Although you would think it is there (the f2.8 ) for low light situations, it seems to be best as a meter for DOF used with good light at a high shutter speed...My Sigma 70-200 is twice the lens with 2.8 in low light situations... The "eyes" have it !
